The US can continue existing as a rapacious empire with or without Israel - it surely did fine for almost 2 centuries before Israel was created out of thin air by the Anglo-Americans - but the crimes of Israel would be impossible without US empire behind it. 

Israel is not blameless. Blame it for its role in facilitating Western empire up to and including abetting genocide and wars of aggression.

👉Washington and Tel Aviv wanted a short war against Iran — but are now facing a prolonged conflict they did not prepare for, Former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Mohsen Rezaee said.

💬“They came and designed a short-term war, but they didn’t realize this might turn into a long-term one,” Rezaee told Mehr News, adding that “Trump and Netanyahu are now trapped in a slaughterhouse in the Persian Gulf.”

📌Rezaee argued that missile attacks on US radar stations and infrastructure in the Persian Gulf have shifted the balance, warning that long wars require far greater logistics and preparation — which the US and Israel did not plan for.
